Comparison
Restomo vs Xcelerate
Xcelerate sells complete restoration software, plus marketing and website services, with the strongest published security posture in the category.
How this page was written: we read xlrestorationsoftware.com once, on September 18, 2026, and recorded what it said. Nothing below is a claim about their product that their own page did not make. If something is out of date, email support@restomo.com and we fix it.
What Xcelerate does well
- Security in the main navigation: SOC 2 Type 2, a trust center, a security disclosure page and a system status page. Best in the category, and the bar Restomo is measuring itself against.
- One strong case study with a hard number, a company going from zero to 1.2 million dollars in sales in its first eight months.
- Customer logos including a national restoration franchise brand and Lightspeed Restoration.
- Comparison pages against Next Gear and Albiware, and vertical pages for water, mold and catastrophe work.
- Marketing and website services from the same vendor, if you want one bill for both.
Where Restomo differs
- Restomo was built inside a working restoration company, by sitting at the owner's desk and on the crew's job sites while real jobs moved through it. That is where every screen came from.
- One product, not a suite. The office board, the crew's field tab, the time clock and the owner's numbers read from the same job record.
- The field tab captures the room from the phone camera and draws the floor plan, with the time clock in the same tab. No extra hardware.
- A public security page that lists what is true today and nothing more, with the SOC 2 program stated as in progress rather than implied.
- One customer so far, and we say so. What you get instead of a logo wall is the product itself, one job from first call to final invoice, and a walkthrough with your own job.
- Restomo sells software only. There is no marketing retainer and no website service, which keeps the walkthrough about your jobs.

When Xcelerate is the better pick
If you need a completed SOC 2 Type 2 report in hand before you sign anything, Xcelerate has one today and Restomo's program is still in progress. That is a real difference and we will not talk around it.
When Restomo is
If you run a five to fifty person water, fire and mold company and the job file is spread across a whiteboard, a group text and a spreadsheet, Restomo was built at a desk exactly like yours. Bring one open job to the walkthrough and judge it on that.
