Comparison
Restomo vs DASH
DASH is the job management product of Next Gear Solutions, part of CoreLogic, which is rebranding as Cotality. It sits inside a nine-product suite sold to contractors and to insurance carriers.
How this page was written: we read nextgearsolutions.com once, on September 18, 2026, and recorded what it said. Nothing below is a claim about their product that their own page did not make. If something is out of date, email support@restomo.com and we fix it.
What DASH does well
- Breadth. The suite covers job management, CRM, mitigation, engagement, reporting, settlement assistance, field assistance and quality assurance under one vendor.
- Five named customer testimonials, including two franchise locations of a national restoration brand.
- Backing from a large data company, with IICRC-approved webinars and accessibility and CCPA pages.
- Selling to carriers as well as contractors, which matters if your carrier programs run on their tools.
Where Restomo differs
- Restomo was built inside a working restoration company, by sitting at the owner's desk and on the crew's job sites while real jobs moved through it. That is where every screen came from.
- One product, not a suite. The office board, the crew's field tab, the time clock and the owner's numbers read from the same job record.
- The field tab captures the room from the phone camera and draws the floor plan, with the time clock in the same tab. No extra hardware.
- A public security page that lists what is true today and nothing more, with the SOC 2 program stated as in progress rather than implied.
- One customer so far, and we say so. What you get instead of a logo wall is the product itself, one job from first call to final invoice, and a walkthrough with your own job.
- Restomo is sized for a five to fifty person company. Setup is a call, not a project, and the owner learns the whole product in twenty minutes.

When DASH is the better pick
If your carrier programs already run on the Next Gear suite, or you want nine products from one large vendor, DASH is built for that scale and Restomo is not trying to be.
When Restomo is
If you run a five to fifty person water, fire and mold company and the job file is spread across a whiteboard, a group text and a spreadsheet, Restomo was built at a desk exactly like yours. Bring one open job to the walkthrough and judge it on that.
