About

Restomo is restoration software built inside a restoration company.

Restomo makes job management software for water, fire and mold restoration companies, from Chicago, Illinois. This page states what the product is, how it was built, who it is for and what it does not claim.

What Restomo is

Restomo is job management software for water, fire and mold restoration companies. One job record holds the lead, the stages it moves through, the crew's hours, photos and room scans, and the dollars, from the first call to the final invoice. The office board, the crew's field tab and the owner's numbers all read from that record.

Romo is the assistant inside Restomo. It reads the same job records as the boards and answers from what the company actually did, and it cannot send anything to anyone outside the company.

How it was built

Restomo was built inside a Chicago restoration franchise, at the owner's desk and on the crew's phones, while real water, fire and mold jobs moved through it. The owner's name, photo and a recorded two-minute walkthrough of a real job file will sit here once that company has signed off on what we say about them.

Who it is for

A five to fifty person water, fire and mold company whose job file is spread across a whiteboard, a group text and a spreadsheet. Setup is a call rather than a project, the crew signs in with a username and no app store, and each location of a franchise runs as its own company with its own boards, logins and numbers.

What it costs

$500 a month for one location, with everyone in the company signed in, unlimited room scans and Romo included with $100 of model spend a month. Every location after the first is $400 a month. There is nothing to pay for setup, and every company starts with 60 days free on its own jobs, with no card.

What it does not claim

Restomo does not replace Xactimate or the accounting system. There is no SOC 2 report yet, and no badge on this site claims one; the security page lists what is true today and nothing beyond it. Restomo sells software only, with no marketing retainer and no website service. It has one customer so far, and it says so.

Where Restomo differs

  • Restomo was built inside a working restoration company, by sitting at the owner's desk and on the crew's job sites while real jobs moved through it. That is where every screen came from.
  • One product, not a suite. The office board, the crew's field tab, the time clock and the owner's numbers read from the same job record.
  • The field tab captures the room from the phone camera and draws the floor plan, with the time clock in the same tab. No extra hardware.
  • A public security page that lists what is true today and nothing more, with the SOC 2 program stated as in progress rather than implied.
  • One customer so far, and we say so. What you get instead of a logo wall is the product itself, one job from first call to final invoice, and a walkthrough with your own job.

Contact

Support is answered by the people who build Restomo at support@restomo.com. Security reports go to security@restomo.com and privacy requests to privacy@restomo.com. The application runs at app.restomo.com. The company's legal name, mailing address and telephone are published on the support page as soon as they are set, and nowhere before.

The product is the proof. Bring one open job to the walkthrough and judge it on that.
